Step 3 ✅Best "Free" Intermittent Fasting App

Written by Dr Kotb and His Team

If You Do Intermittent Fasting, These 4 FREE Apps Are a Must :

1-FastHabit Intermittent Fasting

Cost: Free

The FastHabit app is perfect for any fasting method, whether you fast the same number of hours each day or if your fasting window changes. For example, it works if you do 16:8 or if you do the 5:2 method and want to have a shorter eating window on those to days.

It lets you choose how long your fasting window will be, and you can change it after the window has started. It's also possible to add a fast from yesterday. There is a clock that shows how much time is left until your fast ends. This can help you stay fast even when you only have a short time left. You can also see a summary of the last 10 days, which might help you stay on track with your daily fasting plan. You can also set alerts to let your phone or Apple Watch know when a fast starts or ends.

2-LIFE Fasting Tracker

Cost: Free

The LIFE Intermittent Fasting app allows you to track your progress on any fasting schedule, since you're able to set the start and end time and goals for how long you want to fast for. There's a clock that counts the minutes and hours fasted, so a quick glance can make you feel proud that you've fasted that long.

This app also keeps track of how many hours you've fasted and how many times you've fasted. It also tracks your weekly fasting progress, such as how many hours you've been in ketosis. If you fast and have friends who also use this app, you can fast together. Having support could help you stay on track.

3-Zero

Cost: Free

Zero is a basic tracker that allows you to choose a daily fasting method such as 16:8, a 13-hour circadian rhythm fast (where you start fasting close to sunset), or a fasting period up to 24 hours. There's a clock that counts down or up (you choose) and tracks the number of hours you've fasted for the past seven days. This app is simple and easy to use.

If you fast at the same time every day, this app is great for keeping track of it. It can also help you stick to daily intermittent fasting.
If the amount of time you fast every day changes from day to day, I wouldn't use it. One useful feature is that it lets you know when to start and stop your fast by sending alerts to your phone or Apple Watch.

4-YouAte Food & Health Diary

Cost: Free

The YouAte app is a visual food diary that allows you to take photos of what you ate at what time, note how you felt when you ate it, and keeps track of how much time lapsed between meals and snacks.

You can use this to help you understand why you eat too much or choose unhealthy foods during your eating window if you find that you do.
